Life itself is a thrill. But what if we have an adventure in our trips. India is bestowed with many such locations. Be it northern part or the southern India, You may find thrills in many places. Here I have pulled out some of these thrilling places for you.

  1. Chadar-The Frozen River Trek

It is located in Ladhak  region of Himalayas. Zankar  river  freezes like thick  glass and the temperature drops to down to 30 degrees. Walking on that is no wonder thrilling experiences. You will get to know about the Zankari culture of the localities over there. The landscapes and overall experiences will leave their imprints on your hearts forever. The ice can be dangerous sometimes as there are chances of melting. Hence it is advisable to go there during winters specially February.

 

  1. Trek to Dudhsagar Fall

As the name itself suggests, Dudhsagar  fall is the sea of milk gushing through the rocks. A majestic four tiered waterfall from a height of 310m; it is located in Bhagwan Mahavir  wildlife sanctuary and Molem National Park. The trek starts from Castle Rock and is a very tough one. The railway track and various tunnels are the most amazing features. You must ensure you are wearing proper shoes as this is not gonna be a simple trek. You would have to cross many milestones in the dark forests of  Sahyadri  ranges. This trek is most beautiful during the monsoon. Beware it is most tricky during those days.

 

  1. Rafting in Rishikesh

Ride the mystical waters of Ganges with Rafting in Rishikesh is one of the most amazing adventure. You would have to raft upon fierce frothing water pouring through rocky terrains. On clear days, the mountains are a sight to behold with the sun lighting up their snowy peaks with myriad hues. Rishikesh is a favorite destination as it offers adventures thrill enthusiasts looking for adrenaline-pumping outdoor sports like white-water rafting, sking,rock-climbing or high-altitude trekking.

 

  1. Manali to Leh on bike

One of the most thrilling and challenging expedition; this journey of 475kms on the National Highways  is a paradise for true blue bikers.

You will get s chance to enjoy the white mountains, georgousness of Himachal. It will take away all your fear and sickness. The skies up there are incredibly pollution free and you could enjoy amazing shot of the Milky Way at night.

 

  1. Scuba Diving in Andaman

As you move from 11-15 feet deep into the turquoise beach, you will be moving to the hidden water kingdom. Best time of the year is from Nov.-April. One can see the amazing sea life among the world of awesome water bodies; vibrant fishand awesome corals. If you are planning for that do visit the Beach no.1  in Havelock Island.
