Obesity Issues

When the body weight increases than the normal considered weight; it is referred to as Obesity. This obesity/ overweight may leads to many health issues.

Here are few common health issues in overweight people—

  1. High Blood Pressure

Overweight increases the size of your body and this increases your blood pressure. Your heart will need to pump more to supply bloods to your cells.

This high blood pressure may damage your kidney often.

 

  1. Diabetes

Cells of overweight people often change making it more resistant to hormone insulin.

In case if the person becomes insulin resistant; blood sugar cannot be taken up by the cells resulting in high blood sugar.

 

  1. Heart Diseases

Overweight people need their heart to pump more and more blood. This may make the heart weaker and can result into heart diseases.

 

  1. Fatty Liver

Obesity results in the fat built up around the liver. This may damage the liver causing ito cirrhosis or even liver failure.

 

  1. Stroke

Obesity increases the blood pressure and this excess blood pressure may result into problems like stroke; where the flow of blood to a part of your brain stops, causing the brain cells to die.
