1. Kaziranga National Park

Situated on the bank of river Brahmaputra, in the heart of Assam, this National Park is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the hotspots of Biodiversity. It  is known for its One Horned Rhinoceros,Asiatic tiger,Elephants,Wild Asiatic water buffaloes,swamp deer,fishing cats,Leopards, Junglee cat, Indian Mongoose, Hispid Hare, Golden Jackal, Bengal Fox, Sloth  Bear, Civets, Pangolin. You can enjoy exclusive elephant and jeep safari here. Every year Kaziranga battles with floods and rains and loses a lot of wildlife to it, it is advised that you do not travel to the Kaziranga National Park during the monsoon season and if possible contribute some towards the flood relief if you ever happen to be there. 
 

 

2. Tawang Monastery

Located in the Tawang city of Arunachal Pradesh, it is the second largest monastery of Asia.The monastery is spread in an area of 135 sq m with 65 residential structures and inner walls. It is fortified with stone walls and ceiling with beautiful paintings of Kying-Khores and saints. Other structures include the assembly hall, popularly known as Dukhang, Bodhisattva paintings,northern altar,main courtyard. There is a silver silk casket on the left of the altar, dedicated to Goddess Shri Devi.
 

 

3. Nathula Pass

An important crossroads of Indo-China border – Nathula Pass is one of the off shoot of the old Silk Road. It’s height is 4310 m above sea level and is located 54 km east of Gangtok.You can reach this pass only through drive from Gangtok after getting permit from the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department. Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, Mesa Bharat Magan Hill, staircase to Indo-China border, Tsomgo lake and Mandakini waterfall are few a must attractions to this place.
 

 

4. Nuranang Fall

Located in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, Nuranang fall offer an unblemished and delightful experience. You can see incredible white sheet of water that jumps from the stature of around 100 m. A largely unknown and virgin place surrounded by deep forests and hills, this waterfall gives most spectacular views. Best time to visit this place is from Feb.-Nov.
 

 

5. Dawaki

Situated in the Meghalaya state and near the Bangladesh border, Dawaki is one of the most stunning destinations. River Umangat is a real hidden paradise,with its crystal clear water body. The water is so clear that in some photos, it seems like the boat is in the air. If you are planning to visit this place don’t miss the boat ride.
