2. Trimbakeshwar Temple

• located on the foothills of Brahmagiri mountains and on the bank of river Godavari is the famous Trimbakeshwar temple

3. Holy Ram Kund

• an important sacred bathing tank in Panchvati area
• built by Chitra Rao Khatarakar in 1696 AD
• its believed that a dip in this tank will fulfill their wishes and also free from their sins
• also believed that salvation to the soul of the dead person is easily achieved by immersing their ashes in the holy waters of this tank

4. Dudhsagar falls

• highest waterfall of India and is a popular picnic spot
• also known as Someshwar waterfalls
• Balaji temple is also nearby the waterfall

5. Anjneri Hill

• beautiful spot for little trekking
• believed as the birthplace of Lord Hanuman and is named after his mother Anjani
• you can visit the Anjani temple on the top of the hill by trekking
