Childhood of a 90s Kid vs The current generation

There are many pieces of evidence and testimonies to prove that childhood of a 90s kid was awesome than the childhood of the current generation kids. Well is that true? Let’s try to compare to see what makes it better.

Let’s start it from the birth of a child. Well &in the 90’s the child was born in a normal hospital and sometimes in-home itself, numerous tests were not conducted before the birth, however, in today’s generation, the child is addicted to luxury from the time he steps out from the mother’s womb, courtesy the Super Specialty hospital.

A 90’s kid childhood before the start of education was mostly spent listening to the stories from their grandparents, Playing the swings and some unlimited fun whereas for today’s the storyteller is YouTube and the fun is a mobile.

Coming to the most important part is the schooling current generation kids are so overloaded with classes that never end, tests that last for long and what not they have no room to enjoy the most beautiful part of their childhood.

However 90’s kids were lucky the schooling was never overloaded but managed to have a proper blend of study and enjoyment.

Schooling was one part but a 90s kid understood life when he ventured out and played his heart out.

A 90s kid has probably played all types of sports and sometimes invented a few. While Cricket was on all the time however they also played football, Lagori, Stapo, Maram Pitti (Dabba Dubbi in some places), Dog and the bone, Chain Chain, Stop, Gilli Danda and what not. Along with the outdoor games, 90’s child played some fun-loving games like Pokemon cards, WWE cards, Business games and many more. However, I somewhere feel this Jest to play games has vanished with Mobile ruling the childhood of today’s generation kids.

For the 90’s kid parent, the most difficult part was to get the kid back home after playing, however, this has taken a complete U-turn. In today’s world, the most difficult part for a parent is to make their children go out and play.

Well, certainly I feel the exposure and practical knowledge a 90s child would get by venturing out is certainly missing in today’s generation kids. This will not only help the child grow in all aspects but will make him/her ready to face any situation. On the other side, current generation kids are way too smart and are multitalented. They can act, dance and have triumphed technologies.

As we all know change is the part of the universe. With hero pen being the most valuable asset for a 90s kid and today’s kids own an iPhone. Things have changed massively but it’s left for us to decide as parents/brothers/sisters what should stay intact from the past along with adapting the new changes.

True fact.. perfectly thrown lights on each aspect. Our childhood have better memories than today’s kids will have, who are stuck in the virtual world even for playing games, lack of physical activities…..and yes white hat Junior is there to make child developer😝
